Designed for portable, efficient and reliable sampling of wells for ground water purging and monitoring, the Grundfos Redi-Flo2 has taken the complex process of ground water monitoring and made it simple. Both high flow rates needed for purging and low flows recommended for sampling are achieved with the same pump. The Redi-Flo2 is designed for both dedicated and non-dedicated sampling installations. The portable, solid state converter operates on 110 VAC or 220 VAC and eliminates the need for "throttling" or control valves. Flow rates ranging from 9 gpm to as little as 100 ml/minute are controlled with the simple turn of a dial. Redi-Flo2 is ideal for ground water sampling or conducting aquifer tests to depths of 300 ft because of its smooth, uninterrupted flow. This continuous flow, which allows for a cleaner, simpler, uninterrupted sample catch, improves sample integrity. The compact pump measures just over 11", 1.8" in diameter and weighs only 5.5 lbs. The pumping components of the sturdy Redi-Flo2 are made of stainless steel and virgin Teflon. These chemically inert materials assure maximum sample integrity, limit cross-contamination and simplify the decontamination process.
