The Hanna Turbidity Meter The HANNA instruments® line of turbidity meters use both the North American visible light method (100-600nm), and the European Infared System which both employ the "90° angle"
sensor which provides better accuracy than similar instruments.
HI 93703 is the only turbidity meter equipped with an infrared LED as source of light. Unlike standard lamps, the infrared LED has a long life. More significantly, it maintains constant emission for the entire life of the
instrument. The wavelength peaks at 890nm, which provides the required intensity of diffused light even in samples with low turbidity values, and also reduces the interference from any colours.
Ease-of Use
The meter is very easy to use. All operations can be carried out with only four keys and troubleshooting functions can be performed with error code on LCD.
The meter’s versatility and durability ensure low maintenance.
Calibration Date Storage
Sensitive to the user’s need to work with properly calibrated meters, Hanna Instruments has equipped HI 93703 with a unique GLP (Good Laboratory Practice) feature. The circuitry automatically stores and retrieves the last calibration data. At the touch of a key, the last calibration data together with time and date are displayed allowing the user to maintain an accurate calibration schedule.
Automatic Shut-off
Auto shut-off turns the meter off after 5 minutes of non-use to save batteries.
