1238ME Gastech

The Model 1238ME is an analog hydrocarbon surveyor with the ability to measure hydrocarbons in two ranges: LEL and PPM. The 1238ME also comes standard with a "Methane Elimination" switch for Environmental applications.

The Model 1238 is a portable, dual-range combustible gas indicator with audible pulsating adjustable alarms in both the PPM and LEL ranges. The Methane Elimination Switch allows the user to select between "FULL GAS RESPONSE" and "NO METHANE RESPONSE".

Applications:

Monitoring of methane in two optional range sets.
Built in pump meets federal regulation compliance for pre-testing of confined spaces & other remote areas.
Weighs only five pounds.
Battery Pack Ni-Cd.
Battery and sensor replacement are easily performed, as is basic calibration of the instrument.
Alarm points two levels of alarm with audible indications to warn of unsafe gas levels trigger if a low battery, sensor failure should occur in the field.
